Step one: Liberally apply base color. I used Ben Nye's clown white. I am very happy with it, because it will not run . If it is set with powder, it can stay on all day with no problems. You can even get it wet! You can see thet I have outlined the eyebrow area with some black liner. My photographer was trigger happy, and he caught me before I was all the way finished with the white. The whole face (except for eyebrows, tip of nose, and lips) should be covered (including the chin) ;} |

Step two: I did my eyes by outlining
the top lid, and everything but the inside corner of the lower lid. I swept
my eye up by extending the line off the outside corner of the eye. I also
brought the inside corners down by extending the inside lines down along
my nose.
I painted my nose black, and my upper lip. I swept the corners of my lips up with "smile lines" I connected my nose and lips with a thin line. I also made a small black triangle in the middle of my lower lip. I added whiskers by drawing little V's. My eyebrows are outlined in black, and filled in with gray. remember to sweep the ends up. Set with powder. |

Step three: to finish it off, add
thin black lines around the "muzzle" area, then put 3 white whiskers coming
from the lines. Add stripes around the cheeks and neck, and be sure not
to forget the tuft of fur at the center of your forehead. Set with powder,
and brush off excess. Now you are ready to get into the rest of your costume!
Good Luck! |
